I have been riding since I was 13 years old and I am getting close to 53 years old now. Over the last two years, riding my 1200C BMW and 1200LT BMW, I have covered over 70,000 miles, passed through 78 states, 3 providences in Canada and ridden through every state in the lower 48 and some states more than one time, obviously. For an old man, I am a little proud of that accomplishment.

The interesting thing about this is, most of these great rides were business trips. I chose to ride a motorcycle instead of flying or driving a car. I just could not bear the thought of wasting a ride by flying or driving a car, such a waste.

Since my trips were business, most of the photos were taken as I was flying down the highway about 70 miles per hour. No kidding. The only time I was not on schedule was when I was headed to Boise, ID and ended up in a snow storm in Denver with 6 inches of snow on the ground. I had to book a flight to Boise and really hated to do it. When I returned to Denver the weather had cleared up and I headed out.
